📈 Traction Data

Bliss, a São Paulo–based insurtech for insurance brokerages that uses AI to automate back-office and speed health-plan distribution for SMBs, reached breakeven and reported more than R$300 million in annualized premiums after tripling in size since adopting AI in 2025. [Round Below]
Stay, a São Paulo–based B2B2C fintech that provides corporate private pension plans and long-term incentive benefits, grew assets under management 15x and revenue 7x over the past year.
Core AI, a São Paulo–based AI provider that builds a “last-mile” credit layer to boost approvals while keeping delinquency low, reported it had five clients after one year of operation and expects to generate more than US$3 million in revenue in 2026. [Round Below]
Jota, a São Paulo–based B2B fintech that combines AI and banking in a WhatsApp interface, offering digital accounts, a financial assistant and voice payments, reached 150,000 customers and R$2.2 billion in transacted volume (TPV) in its first 12 months.
Stark Infra, a São Paulo–based financial-infrastructure provider that offers modular card processing and BIN Sponsor services for fintechs and banks, processed more than R$1 billion in 2025 and projects approximately 170% growth in its card vertical for 2026.
DolarApp (ARQ), a Mexico City–based fintech that offers USDc dollar accounts to receive, send and pay in pesos or dollars and issues a Mastercard with up to 4% cashback, reported it had more than 2 million users and over US$10 billion in annualized transaction volume across Latin America.
Vetto AI, a data research company that treats training data as a scientific discipline rather than a commodity, reached 8 figures in annualized revenue with 3x month-over-month growth for consecutive months, while remaining profitable and targeting 9-figure ARR.
Hero Seguros, a São Paulo–based insurtech that offers B2B2C travel insurance as an MGA with partner APIs and an in-house claims unit (Hero Assist), sold 4 million policies and recorded R$300 million in premiums (around R$150 million in revenue) since it was founded in 2021. [Round Below]
Cifrato, a Bogotá–based accounting automation startup that uses AI to import, classify and send electronic invoices to ERPs and POS, reducing manual work, reached US$1 million in annual recurring revenue with more than 270 direct clients and impact on over 3,500 companies. [Round Below]
👥 Team Expansion
Startups rapidly scaling their teams.
SenseUp, an Espírito Santo-based agile data integration platform designed for the digital transformation era, saw a ~40% headcount growth over the past quarter, reaching a total of 21 employees.
Gedanken, a São Paulo-based risk management platform intended to certify crucial information about customers, suppliers, employees, and partners, saw a ~11% headcount growth over the past quarter, reaching a total of 114 employees.
🚀 Funding Rounds
Funding rounds from the past two weeks fueling the next wave of LatAm tech. Sorted by round size.
Mevo, a São Paulo–based digital prescription platform for medications and exams serving hospitals, clinics, doctors and pharmacies, raised R$95 million in an extension of its Series B led by Prosus. The round brought Mevo’s total capital raised to R$340 million. [Source]
Bliss closed a Series A of US$11 million co-led by Kfund and Bradesco’s VC arm. The round included participation from Actyus, Clocktower Ventures, Canary and Speedinvest. [Source]
Hero Seguros raised R$35 million in a round led by Headline XP with participation from Actyus, in a deal that was mostly primary but included a secondary component. [Source]
BackChannel, a São Paulo–based B2B marketplace that connects brands and distributors to retailers to sell excess inventory using AI for pricing, negotiation and recommendations, closed a seed round of R$25 million led by Sunna Ventures with participation from Positive Ventures, Cathay Latam, Preface Ventures, Norte Ventures, Accion Ventures, Savia Ventures, Ignia VC and Morro Ventures. UnblockPay, a Brazil–based fintech that provides global payments and treasury infrastructure via stablecoins for fast cross-border transfers and banking-native services, raised US$4.5 million in a seed round and was valued at US$20 million. The round was led by Prelude and included Plug & Pay, Wintermute, Crescera, Triaxis and angel investors Fabiano Cruz and Dan Faccio. [Source]
Core AI raised US$4.1 million in a round led by 14B with participation from Big Bets, Nameless, BFF and existing angel backers including André Street, Eduardo Pontes and Fersen Lambranho. [Source]
Prestamype, a Lima–based fintech that provides loans, factoring and a digital currency exchange (Cambio Seguro) for micro, small and medium enterprises, raised US$27 million in equity and debt. The package included a US$2 million bridge round from existing investors ALIVE Ventures, Oikocredit and Salkantay Ventures and a US$25 million credit line from Lendable. [Source]
Rexi, a New York–based AI-native finance platform that centralizes bank reconciliation and automates transaction matching and query resolution for fintechs, banks, and payment companies, raised US$1.2 million in a pre-seed round backed by several U.S. venture funds. The round included participation from investors such as Pear, NFX, Flybridge, Underscore and Textbook. [Source]
Cifrato raised over US$1 million in a seed round backed by Y Combinator, Fen Ventures, Decelera Ventures and Kuiper. [Source]
