Revenue figures, ARR milestones, and customer counts from private startups across LatAm.
Salvy, a four-year-old Brazil–based startup providing cloud-hosted virtual mobile lines and corporate cellphone plans, reported that virtual lines accounted for 40% of revenue and helped expand its corporate customer base from 2,300 to 15,000 companies. The company also said revenue grew 8x over the past 24 months and projects a 3x increase this year.
Bys, a one-year-old São Paulo–based insurtech that structures and operates insurance programs for businesses, issued more than R$120 million in annualized premiums in its first year of operation.
Kapital, a six-year-old Mexico City–based AI-powered business bank that automates financial management, reported nearly US$50 million in net income in the first half of 2026, alongside a loan portfolio exceeding US$1.7 billion, up 220% year over year.
Starian, a one-year-old Florianópolis–based provider of vertical SaaS solutions for construction, legal intelligence, operational efficiency, and governance and compliance, projects to close 2026 with R$750 million in annualized revenue and around 25,000 customers.
Nelo, a seven-year-old Mexico City–based BNPL fintech offering consumer credit and payment services, reported US$115 million in annualized revenue, one million active customers and its third consecutive profitable year. [Round Below]

Startups rapidly scaling their teams.
Draiven, a one-year-old São Carlos-based generative AI platform that connects to ERPs/databases to deliver real-time insights and automate data-driven business decisions, saw a 100%+ increase in headcount over the past quarter, reaching a total of 23 employees.
Sanii, a three-year-old São Paulo-based provider of wellness and fitness services intended to improve health, manage weight, and reduce disease risk, saw a 26% increase in headcount over the past quarter, reaching a total of 24 employees.
Aimirim, a ten-year-old Uberlândia-based AI-driven industrial automation platform integrating IoT, digital twins, advanced control and analytics to optimize performance and reduce costs, saw a 24% increase in headcount over the past quarter, reaching a total of 41 employees.
🚀 Funding Rounds
Funding rounds from the past two weeks fueling the next wave of LatAm tech. Sorted by round size.
A5X, a three-year-old São Paulo–based fintech developing a derivatives exchange and market infrastructure for Brazil, raised R$360 million in a Series D led by Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and Kaszek. The round brought its total funding to more than R$730 million and valued the company at R$2.7 billion. IMC, Jump Trading, Optiver, XTX Markets, ABN AMRO Clearing and XP also participated. [Source]
NG.CASH, a five-year-old São Paulo–based digital financial platform offering young people payments, credit and investment products, raised US$15 million in a strategic round led by Blockchain Capital to expand its credit and financial-services offering. The financing brought NG.CASH’s total capital raised since launch to more than US$65 million. [Source]
OrderEAT, a seven-year-old Montevideo–based platform that digitizes payments and operations for school cafeterias, raised US$2 million in a round led by Chile Ventures. Driven VC, Add Ventures, Seedstars, and angel investors Sergio Fogel and Avedis Boudakian also participated. [Source]
UIN, a one-year-old Buenos Aires–based behavioral engagement software provider for banks, fintechs and other transactional businesses, raised a US$2 million Seed round led by Ewa Capital. Driven VC, B Venture Capital, ADN, GAIN and New Ventures also participated, alongside angel investors. [Source]
Nuvia, a three-year-old Brazil–based startup providing AI sales agents that integrate messaging, voice, web, email, CRMs and enterprise tools, raised US$1.8 million in a round led by Amador Capital and Nascent. NXTP, Crivo Ventures, Delusional Capital and a Spectra Investimentos club deal also participated. [Source]
AMentoria, a seven-year-old Natal–based edtech that provides test preparation and one-on-one mentoring for ENEM and university entrance-exam students, raised a US$196k Seed round led by Triaxis Capital and Crescera Capital through FIP Nordeste Capital Semente. Insper Angels, Anjos do Brasil, Cristiano Faé, Adriano Silveira and existing investor WOW Aceleradora also participated. [Source]

Expanding to LatAm
Simile, a one-year-old Palo Alto–based AI simulation company that models how people, organizations and markets respond to different scenarios, received an undisclosed investment from Itaú Ventures through an extension of its US$200 million Series B. The round, which valued Simile at US$2 billion, was led by Greenoaks and included Index, Hanabi, Bain Capital Ventures, A*, Factory, Definition and CVS Health Ventures. [Source]
Mundi, a six-year-old New York–based fintech that provides receivables financing and working capital to Mexican companies involved in international trade, secured a financing facility of up to US$150 million from Column. The facility, Column’s first financing partnership with a Mexico-focused trade-finance fintech, will more than double Mundi’s funding capacity for receivables financing to US$325 million. [Source]
Firecrawl, a two-year-old San Francisco–based AI infrastructure startup that scrapes and structures web data for AI agents, raised a US$75 million Series B led by Smash Capital. Altos, Nexus, Y Combinator, Freestyle and Offline Ventures also participated in the round. [Source]
Emilia AI, a two-year-old San Francisco–based AI platform that turns restaurants’ existing security cameras and point-of-sale data into sales-coaching and antifraud agents, raised US$1.5 million in a Pre-Seed round led by Prosus Ventures. The company plans to use the capital to accelerate product development and expansion in Brazil. [Source]
Skalar, a newly founded US–based fintech that finances customer-acquisition costs for startups with repayments tied to cash generation, raised a funding round led by Monashees. The company also secured a debt-financing partnership with General Catalyst to bring its customer-value financing model to Latin America. [Source]
