Celcoin, a 10-year-old Barueri–based financial-infrastructure fintech for payments, banking, credit and capital markets, expects to end the year with R$800 million in annual recurring revenue following its acquisition of Vert Capital.
HIT, a five-year-old Jundiaí–based healthtech providing integrative health and wellness programs for consumers and corporate HR teams, reported R$3.2 million in year-to-date revenue and projecs R$5 million for 2026.
Applause, a five-year-old Curitiba–based SaaS gamification platform that turns sales goals into challenges and rewards, reported more than R$7 million in annual recurring revenue after growing 25x over the past 19 months and a target of nearly R$20 million in ARR by the end of 2027. [Round Below]
Unico, a 19-year-old São Paulo–based digital identity and biometric-verification company, reported 41% global revenue growth and 56% international revenue growth as it acquired Argentina’s Valida to expand across Latin America.
Pagaleve, a five-year-old São Paulo–based fintech offering buy-now-pay-later installment payments via Pix, expects to reach R$500 million in revenue by the second half of 2026.
Jurídico AI, a three-year-old Barueri–based legaltech that uses AI to generate legal documents and manage litigation, expects to end 2026 with R$40 million in revenue after growing to more than 13,000 clients.
👥 Team Expansion
Startups rapidly scaling their teams.
Tess AI, a one-year-old, San Francisco-based no-code multi-agent platform for automating tasks, enabling professionals to deploy their own AI agents in seconds, saw a 21% increase in headcount over the past quarter, reaching a total of 34 employees.
Bricker, a three-year-old, São Paulo-based intelligence platform in Real Estate financing, saw a 17% increase in headcount over the past quarter, reaching a total of 28 employees.
Caveo, a five-year-old, São Paulo-based financial management platform designed to automate bureaucratic tasks for medical practitioners, saw a 17% increase in headcount over the past quarter, reaching a total of 147 employees.
🚀 Funding Rounds
Funding rounds from the past two weeks fueling the next wave of LatAm tech. Sorted by round size.
Magnar, a one-year-old Santiago–based legaltech that provides an AI platform for legal research, drafting, document comparison, e-signatures and contract management, raised US$8 million in a Series A round led by 6 Degrees Capital and co-led by Hi Ventures. Platanus participated alongside minority investments from major Latin American law firms. [Source]
Doroth, a seven-year-old Piracicaba–based deeptech developing lab-on-a-chip platforms for molecular diagnostics, raised R$23 million in a round led by Brazilian biotechnology company Loccus. The financing combines private capital with funding from Finep and Fapesp. [Source]
Bull, a one-year-old São Paulo–based fintech providing white-label Credit as a Service infrastructure, data and credit-intelligence tools for businesses, raised US$3.9 million in a Seed round led by Maya Capital and Caravela Capital, with participation from Canary. [Source]
Plenti, a four-year-old Medellín–based fintech providing foreign exchange, international transactions and investment services for consumers and businesses, raised a US$3 million Seed round led by Tether, with participation from Verda Ventures. [Source]
Applause raised R$10 million in a round led by Primus Ventures. MadeiraMadeira’s founders, who had invested in an earlier round, also participated alongside Pipefy founders and US investors. [Source]
Betterplan, a six-year-old Las Condes–based wealth management fintech that combines digital investment tools with personalized financial advice, raised US$1.1 million in a round led by the Anastassiou family office. An undisclosed family office and existing investor Fondo Vulcano also participated, bringing Betterplan’s total funding to about US$4 million. [Source]
MineWatch, a four-year-old Santiago–based developer of wireless IoT connectivity and real-time monitoring technology for underground mining, raised US$900,000 in a round led by Alza Mining Tech. [Source]
Debt Rounds
Felix, a six-year-old Miami–based fintech that provides remittances and financial services to Latino immigrants in the U.S. through WhatsApp, raised a US$200 million Series C and reached a US$1.4 billion valuation. The financing included US$87 million in equity led by a16z crypto and a US$113 million credit facility from General Catalyst’s Customer Value Fund to finance operating float. [Source]
Kapital, a six-year-old Mexico City–based AI-powered business bank offering accounts, credit, cards, cash-flow management, brokerage and fund administration, raised US$125 million in capital and debt as an extension of its 2025 Series C. [Source]
Loads, a four-year-old Santiago–based cross-border food-commerce platform that embeds working-capital financing into logistics and trading flows, secured a US$15 million revolving credit facility from Addem Capital. [Source]
Expanding to LatAm
Cognition AI, a three-year-old San Francisco–based AI company developing Devin, an autonomous software engineering agent that supports software development teams, raised US$2 billion in a Series E at a US$48 billion valuation. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz and Accel, with participation from existing backers Founders Fund, General Catalyst and Avenir, alongside NVIDIA and other investors. [Source]
Wonderful, a one-year-old Amsterdam–based developer of an AI operating system that integrates enterprise agents, workflows and existing systems, raised US$550 million in a Series C round at a US$5 billion valuation. Insight Partners led the round, with Salesforce and existing investors including Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards and Bessemer Venture Partners also participating. [Source]
