Revenue figures, ARR milestones, and customer counts from private startups across LatAm.
Aro, a Brazil–based AI fintech that guides consumers through credit selection and contracting while connecting lenders via open banking, grew its operation eightfold in eight months and reached US$1 million in annualized revenue. It projects US$3 million to US$4 million in annualized revenue by year-end.
Pluggy, a São Paulo–based open finance infrastructure provider that connects business-management software to banks via APIs, served about 600 direct customers and connected nearly 500,000 CNPJs to its platform. The company has been at breakeven since 2024, surpassed its R$25 million ARR target for 2026 and expects to reach R$40 million by year-end. [Round Below]
Jusbrasil, a Salvador–based legaltech providing legal information and AI-powered intelligence and document solutions, is approaching R$1 billion in combined annual recurring revenue (ARR), with 85% generated by AI-first products, following its acquisition of MinutaIA.
Fintalk, a Brazil–based conversational AI fintech providing customer-service, sales and collections agents across digital channels, doubled in size annually and processed R$1.4 billion in debt payments in 2025.
Decade, a São Paulo–based wealth advisory startup combining AI with human financial advisors, reached R$10 billion in monitored portfolios less than a month after launching its public operations.
👥 Team Expansion
Startups rapidly scaling their teams.
PX Data, a Rio de Janeiro-based Generative AI platform for enterprises to query data in natural language, access dashboards, and share insights with governance, saw a 24% increase in headcount over the past quarter, reaching a total of 41 employees.
Nuvia, a São Paulo-based Artificial Intelligence platform that is revolutionizing the way B2B sales are made, saw a 19% increase in headcount over the past quarter, reaching a total of 31 employees.
Zapia AI, a Uruguay-based mobile-first AI personal assistant that autonomously executes real-world tasks end-to-end, saw a 20% increase in headcount over the past quarter, reaching a total of 30 employees.
🚀 Funding Rounds
Funding rounds from the past two weeks fueling the next wave of LatAm tech. Sorted by round size.
Flash, a São Paulo–based platform for employee benefits, HR processes and corporate expense management, raised R$150 million in a Series D round led by existing backers Battery Ventures and Kevin Efrusy. Endeavor Catalyst also joined the company’s cap table in the round, which follows more than R$ 800 million raised previously. [Source]
Bia Energy, a Bogotá–based energy company providing energy retailing, distributed solar generation and utility-management software to businesses, raised US$18.5 million in a Series B round led by Kaszek. Endeavor Catalyst, RA Capital, EWA Capital and the Inter-American Development Bank also participated. [Source]
Primero, a Mexico City–based enterprise AI software company that connects fragmented business systems and deploys AI agents for internal workflows, raised a US$12 million Seed round co-led by Kaszek and General Catalyst. Definition, Conviction and 8VC also participated, alongside angel investors associated with FEMSA, Bimbo, Aeroméxico and Kimberly-Clark de México. [Source]
Autonomy, a Boulogne–based fintech offering rent-to-own vehicles bundled with insurance, maintenance and permits for mobility-app drivers, raised a US$8 million Series A led by Magna Capital, Comafi, Natan VC and Murchison Ventures. [Source]
Sharpi, a São Paulo–based conversational sales platform that automates B2B sales through WhatsApp and integrates orders with ERP systems, raised a US$4 million Seed round led by NXTP and ONEVC. Clocktower Ventures and MAYA Capital also participated in the financing. [Source]
Pluggy raised US$3.5 million in a Series A round led by DGF, with participation from Y Combinator and Brazil Venture Capital. [Source]
Vultus, a São Paulo–based cybersecurity company developing software for continuous offensive security testing and autonomous cyberattack simulation, raised R$8 million from an undisclosed private investor to accelerate its proprietary technology and software portfolio. [Source]
Passabot, a São Paulo–based travel technology startup that helps travel agencies search, book and manage travel products through its PassHub B2B platform, raised R$7.5 million in a round led by Parceiro Ventures. [Source]
Roma AI, a Santiago–based provider of governed AI agents integrated with companies’ internal systems, raised a US$1.2 million Seed round led by Invexor Venture Partners. [Source]
Fina, a Caracas–based cloud-based management software provider for small and medium businesses, raised a US$1 million Seed round co-led by SquareOne Capital and Tomorrow Capital. Norte Ventures, Platanus and Neer Venture Partners also participated. [Source]
Lokal, a Santiago–based B2B marketplace that lets independent retailers source products from multiple suppliers through one platform, raised US$700 thousand from Invexor Venture Partners. [Source]
Ginastee, a Belo Horizonte–based wellness and fitness social platform that helps creators monetize audiences through communities, subscriptions and digital products, raised a R$650 thousand Pre-Seed round with Koinz Capital. [Source]
Fiibo, a São Paulo–based healthfintech providing digital infrastructure and a marketplace for health plans and products, closed an undisclosed Seed Extension led by Vox Capital’s co-investment fund with Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein and Criabiz Ventures. Headline, IKJ Capital and 040 Ventures also participated. [Source]
Expanding to LatAm
Certuma, a San Francisco Bay Area–based clinical AI company developing physician-verified infrastructure for low-complexity care, raised a US$10 million seed round led by 8VC. The company has begun operations in Argentina and is pursuing regulatory pathways with the FDA in the United States and ANMAT in Argentina. [Source]
