📈 Traction Data
Revenue figures, ARR milestones, and customer counts from private startups across LatAm.
Jota, a São Paulo–based B2B fintech that combines AI and banking inside WhatsApp to offer payments, credit, invoicing and financial tools for small businesses, reached about 300,000 customers and processed R$ 3.5 billion in annualized transaction volume (TPV). [Round Below]
Musixe, a Franca–based subscription-based music edtech platform offering online courses, podcasts and YouTube content across instruments and levels, aims to reach 200,000 students by December after reporting R$ 5.6 million in revenue in 2025 and 30% growth.
Nava, a Barueri–based technology consultancy that specializes in cloud, multicloud, digital transformation, cloud governance and infrastructure services, saw revenue grow from R$ 90 million in 2020 to about R$ 400 million in 2025.
Principia, a Brazil–based AI operating system for education that provides financial, operational and ERP software for universities and schools, reached US$ 30 million in annual recurring revenue in under three years and onboarded more than 1.3k institutions and 800k students.
Guipa, a São Paulo–based startup that equips delivery motorcycles with digital ad panels, LPR cameras and sensors to collect urban data for geolocated advertising and operational monitoring, operates a fleet of 180 motorcycles and projects R$ 20 million in revenue in 2026 and R$ 60 million in 2027. Buser, a São José dos Campos–based mobility platform that provides collaborative bus chartering, a ticket marketplace and regulated transport services across Brazil, reported about 14 million customers and projects to reach R$ 700 million in revenue in 2026.
ADDI, a Bogotá–based fintech that provides buy-now-pay-later and other financial products while building a marketplace-plus-finance ecosystem, reports an ARR of US$ 300 million in May and expects to reach US$ 350–400 million by December. [Round Below]
👥 Team Expansion
Startups rapidly scaling their teams.
Handle, a US/Mexico-based vertical AI agents platform for enterprise operations that combines real-time visibility, workflow automation, and a no-code agent builder to eliminate manual bottlenecks, saw a ~19% headcount growth over the past month, reaching a total of 19 employees.
N5X, a São Paulo-based energy trading platform, saw a ~18% headcount growth over the past month, reaching a total of 47 employees.
Kira, a US/Mexico-based API platform that enables businesses to embed remittances, payroll, wallets, and real-time cross-border payments without having to touch blockchain or navigate complex compliance requirements, saw a ~10% headcount growth over the past month, reaching a total of 37 employees.
🚀 Funding Rounds
Equity funding rounds from the past two weeks fueling the next wave of LatAm tech. Sorted by round size.
Taktile, a Berlin–based fintech that automates financial decisions for banks and insurers using AI agents, closed a US$ 110 million Series C led by Goldman Sachs Alternatives’ Growth Equity. Other participants included Balderton Capital, Index Ventures, Tiger Global, Y Combinator and Dig Ventures, and about US$ 20 million of the round will be used to accelerate the company’s expansion in Brazil and Latin America. ADDI raised US$ 85 million in a round co-led by Citius and BTG Pactual with participation from GIC and Monashees. The financing adds to prior capital of US$ 255 million from investors including Andreessen Horowitz, SoftBank, Quona Capital and GGV Capital and was reported to value the company near US$ 1 billion. [Source]
Jota raised US$ 30 million in a Series A and was valued at US$185 million post-money. The round was led by Haun Ventures and included HOF Capital, Alter Global and new investor Greyhound Capital, marking Haun’s first investment in a Brazilian startup. [Source]
El Dorado, a Buenos Aires–based fintech that provides cross-border financial infrastructure enabling real-time settlement and multiuser international payments, raised US$ 9 million in a Series A led by Paradigm with participation from Coinbase Ventures and Verda Ventures. [Source]
Zeom, a London–based wealthtech that converts reais via Pix into a global account to access international assets such as bonds, ETFs, stocks and gold, closed a pre-seed round of R$ 15 million led by Fabric Ventures with participation from Plug and Play and Spanish fund Tritemius. [Source]
Guipa raised R$ 7.5 million in a pre-seed round from angel investors in technology, media and finance, including Carlos Fonseca (founder of Galápagos Capital) and João Phillip (cofounder of Neooh). [Source]
Bianca AI, a Buenos Aires–based AI platform that builds a 'company brain' for FMCG brands by integrating ERP, distributor, Nielsen and market signals to deliver actionable sales insights, closed a pre-seed round of US$ 500,000 led by Magma Partners and Matterscale Ventures. The oversubscribed round also included participation from two Kellogg-affiliated angel investors. [Source]
